Does artificial grass smell after rain or pet use?
Quality turf drains quickly, so rainwater doesn’t sit on top. For pets:
- Urine drains through the perforated backing
- A properly built base prevents odor buildup
- Occasional rinsing keeps things fresh
Smell issues usually come from poor drainage or skipped base prep, not the turf itself.
